To recover lost data from Windows Vista System, you must have administrator rights for the sake of access physical drives!

You must switch off Vista's User Access Control (UAC) by the follow below steps -

Open your Control Panel and switch to Classic view.

Open -> “User Accounts”

Click User Account Control on or off uncheck UAC and restart your computer

Once UAC is disabled run Data Recovery Wizard to get back your files.
