Partition Copy&Disk Copy are powerful functions in EASEUS Partition Manager 3.0,
which can support both sector-by-sector and file-by-file copy. You may use them to protect data loss from program error or some other accidental crashes.
Disk Copy is especially useful if you want to replace the older smaller hard disk by a newer larger hard disk without installing the Operating System and applications once again. If your computer crashes or has a virus infection, you may still get your files back easily on destination disks or other safe places where you copied to.
EASEUS Partition Manager 3.0 may support FAT & NTFS partitions' file-by-file copy. There is no need to worry if there is something wrong with the file system to make the copy not allowed. EASEUS Partition Manager 3.0 will automatically check the partition before you start to copy and will choose a sector-by-sector copy automatically if there is something wrong with the file system to ensure your files' backup.
When you use Partition Copy & Disk Copy functions, you should make the Windows Operating System bootable on destination disk, make sure that:
1. You may shut down the computer after disk copy and unload the source drive.
2. If the Operating System is not bootable on destination disk, you may try to connect the destination disk to the socket of the source disk.
If the Operating System is not bootable on source disk, please shut down the computer and try to unload the destination disk.
You can’t start the computer directly from the destination disk once the disk copy is finished.
