Traffic accident is much dangerous than a tiger and a sudden power-off is such an accident while you are using you PC, because it usually leads to serious outcomes as hardware damage and data loss.
Two days ago, I suffered a sudden power-off while editing a word document. After reboot, I cannot see the files from Windows Explorer. The drive has been renamed local disk. I can see the files in a program called Acronis Disk Director, but that program will not allow me to recover the files. This drive held so important production which I had been spending several years on. Were it lost, it must be a fatal shock to me. I ought to exert myself to recover it! Thanks to Yahoo, I found EASEUS Data Recovery Wizard and got the email address of the support center. I send an email on my case and asked for a solution. A quarter later, the support engineers responded and inquired about detailed information. Then, I sent them a screenshot as:
It is the "F drive (Disk 0) I'm having trouble with.
There is 3 partitions (20.05GB fat32). Now I cannot access the
F partition under Windows Explorer.
